Eyeconic - Astro 7 Theme for Eyewear and Sunglasses Brands
A fashion-forward storefront and journal, with not one byte of framework JavaScript. Eyeconic is a complete eyewear and sunglasses ecommerce theme built on Astro 7. Every page pre-renders to static HTML, so it loads instantly and deploys anywhere — and it ships zero framework JavaScript, just one small vanilla script.

WHAT'S INSIDE
16 page templates — 40 static pages per build: home, about, shop, shop category, product detail, blog, blog post, contact, checkout, PayPal checkout, order confirmation, style guide, license, changelog, password (401) and 404
Journal — 14 articles as Markdown: one leading the directory in a layout of its own, the rest across a four-tab category strip, each with an author, a reading time and a body that takes headings, lists, full-width figures and pull quotes
Frames — 9 products as Markdown, each with three colourways that swap the photograph on click, three sizes, a working add-to-cart form and a related row underneath; plus four shop category pages built from the same five grids
Commerce pages — a cart drawer, checkout, PayPal checkout and order confirmation, with quantity editing, line totals, subtotals and form validation (localStorage-based; wire up Stripe or Lemon Squeezy when you're ready to sell)
Motion that earns its keep — scroll reveals at the design's own offsets and delays, three carousels that step in pixels so three cards stay on screen, a scroll-linked photograph, an endless belt, image zooms with wipe overlays, pointer-tracking hovers and a video lightbox that loads nothing until it is opened — all in one vanilla script, all respecting prefers-reduced-motion
Edit content, not code — add a Markdown file and a line of JSON, and the article or the frame, its listing card and its detail page all follow
Design-token system — the whole palette and type scale are 44 CSS custom properties in one :root block; change them there and every page follows
Self-hosted fonts — Inter and Inter Tight as variable woff2, weights 300–700 from one file each, no CDN requests
Responsive imagery — 198 srcset attributes across the build, so every picture ships at the size the slot actually needs
TypeScript throughout, zod-validated content schema
